We care deeply about children and are committed to providing a space where they are safe both physically and emotionally. We limit class sizes to ensure that we can come to understand each child as an individual.

All that we do is intended to support and maintain the love of learning that is innate within all children. Though our programs do include some structured learning and activities, students are given the freedom to choose their level of participation.

We believe that connecting to the natural world is the most valuable experience we can offer. Being outside is calming and nurturing. Inviting children to discover the natural world inspires curiosity and creates an awareness of all that surrounds them. Coming to know and understand the natural world also helps children develop a sense of stewardship to the earth.

We believe that children’s play is essential to longterm development. Child-directed play helps children explore, experiment, discover and make connections. It helps develop creativity, social skills, motor development and physical strength. During free play children learn how to solve problems, resolve conflict and develop a sense of independence. The benefits are endless and applicable to real life situations.
